The City of Lindsay observes the following holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Presidents Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Veterans’ Day
• Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday
• Christmas Eve and Day

Weekend Holidays

Holidays shall be observed on the day they are observed by the courts of the State of Oklahoma. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday.
