Overview

The Lindsay Police Department is a full-time department consisting of eight Patrol Officers, a School Resource Officer, and five Reserve Officers. The Department is run under the direction of Chief Aaron Aprill who oversees the departments of patrol, investigation, code enforcement, animal control, jail, dispatch, administration, and a reserve section.

Mission Statement:

Our mission here at the Lindsay Police Department is to enhance the quality of life within the City of Lindsay by providing exemplary service and protection within the framework of the U.S and state constitutions through leadership and partnership with the citizens of the community. The department enforces and upholds the laws of the State of Oklahoma and Lindsay City ordinances. We strive to build community relationships and be proactive within the community. All current full-time officers are cross commissioned with the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police to assist and uphold tribal laws within the Chickasaw Nation.
