Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning Commission is a group of Lindsay citizens appointed by the mayor and approved by the City Council to review land use and long-range planning issues. Lindsay staff works closely with the Planning Commission to ensure that the requirements defined in the City of Lindsay municipal codes are executed when reviewing applications for rezoning, platting, and special use applications. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council. The City Council determines final approval. The board meets to review completed applications received by the City of Lindsay.
