LIBRARY FLOORING
The City of Lindsay/Lindsay Public Works Authority, Oklahoma, is seeking bids for the installation of approximately 1,000 sq ft of vinyl laminate flooring in the City of Lindsay Library located at 112 W. Choctaw.
Carpet has been or will need to be removed from several areas in the library and vinyl laminate flooring is to be installed.
City will choose flooring from samples submitted by contractor.
Materials to be installed in accordance with applicable specifications and building codes.
All materials must be new, no used materials will be approved.
Each sealed bid must include the bidders name, address, contact #, bid amount and projected completion date.
Each sealed bid must be accompanied with a certified or cashier’s check, or a bidders’ bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the project bid, as a guarantee of ability to enter into a contract with the owner of the project bid upon.
The deposit of the successful bidder shall be retained by owner as liquidated damages in the event of failure to enter into a contract with the owner.
Insurance requirements must be met before final award is made and contracts and notice to proceed can be issued.

Sealed proposals shall be addressed to Kathy Hammans, City Clerk, City of Lindsay, Oklahoma, PO Box 708, 312 South Main Street, Lindsay, Oklahoma 73052 and shall be labeled "RFP-2021-05-3 DO NOT OPEN" and "LIBRARY FLOORING". Proposals shall be submitted no later than 10:00 a.m., August 5, 2021. It is the sole responsibility of the proponent to ensure that this proposal is actually in the City Hall of the City of Lindsay prior to the expiration of the time and date stated above.
Upon consideration of the proposals, the City of Lindsay\Lindsay Public Works Authority reserves the right to accept or to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the proponent's ability to provide the services as covered by the specifications, and to accept what in their judgment is the most advantageous proposal.
