The City of Lindsay Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provides service to approximately 18,000 people. EMS service is provided to Garvin, McClain, Grady, and Stephens County. EMS currently runs two ambulances 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Lindsay EMS is a basic-level service operation, with a paramedic on staff every day to provide emergency care to residents.

Cardiac Enzyme Test
Lindsay EMS is using state-of-the-art equipment and tests. It is the first department in the State of Oklahoma to begin using Cardiac Enzyme tests on probable heart attack cases. The tests provide emergency personnel with information to determine the level of care needed to get the patient to the appropriate facility within the golden hour.

Equipment & Services
Lindsay EMS currently has four ambulances in its fleet and has a trauma trailer available for large-scale emergencies. EMS personnel provide a service to the community by participating in community events. EMS also provides weekly welfare checks for elder residents who reside in the city limits.
