The Lindsay Police Department is a full time department consisting of 24 sworn officers and seven unsworn civilian personnel. The Department is under the direction of Chief Stephen A. Mills and consist of Patrol, K9, Investigations, Code Enforcement, Animal Control, Jail, Dispatch, Administration and Reserve sections.

Mission Statement:

Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life within the city of Lindsay by providing exemplary service and protection within the framework of the U.S. and State Constitutions, through leadership and partnership with the citizens of the community
Department personnel are dedicated to serving the community and protecting life and property. We also play a major role in teaching children of the community about safety by visiting schools and daycare facilities. The Lindsay Police Department has some of the most highly trained officers in the state.

If you would like to tour the Police Station just give us a call between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
